… from an early age we learned that the kitchen is “fantasy, creativity, love”.

The search for quality, fresh seasonal products
translates into dishes of the most ancient Aeolian and Sicilian gastronomic tradition,
rethought in the light of our passion for cooking.
The oil of Belice, the capers and the tomatoes of Salina,
Nebrodi salami are some of our specialties.
Thus was born the “Pinnata del Monsù”!

The history

THE MEANING OF THE PINNATA

The “Pinnata” was once upon a time
an exposed and oriented venue
towards the sea, where it was stored
in the evening, the Malvasia grape after
having been in the sun during
the day.
The “Monsù” from the French “monsierur”
he was the ancient cook who worked
among the noble Sicilian families.
